This amazing museum opened its doors in 1923 when it started as a small engineering study collection, and today it’s the world’s largest military aviation museum, and home to countless unique objects. Besides, this center is world-renowned for air and space power technology and cultural preservation, with more than 350 aerospace vehicles and missiles in its engine collection.
The museum researches, collects, interprets, and presents the Air Force’s history and traditions through engaging exhibits, as well as special programs and educational outreach, which motivate and educate youth interest in the US Air Force and STEM.
Some of their educational programs include Introduction to Becoming a Pilot, Cyber Programs, ARC Rocket Team, Summer Aerospace Camps, Read Across America, and more. Their field trips aerospace activities include classes, presentations, guided tours, special needs programs, and many more interesting options.
