The Greater Cincinnati Police Museum opened in 2006 with the goal of preserving and celebrating the history of law enforcement in Cincinnati. It is the only regional museum in the world that does not accept state or municipal funds in order to operate.
The Museum, which hosted in-service training for the Cincinnati Police Department, also conducted workshops, events, and many different meetings, as museum volunteers do presentations for school groups, scouting groups, and more. It also does research and documents information about the deaths of local, state, and federal officers who lost their lives in service of the Cincinnati’s community.
There’s plenty of information on how you can help and donate on the museum’s official website.
